I am an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Purdue University Northwest (PNW). I joined PNW as an Assistant Professor in 2017. Prior to join PNW, I finished my PhD from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Toledo under the supervision of Dr. Weiqing Sun. I completed my BS and MS in Computer Science and Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India in 2009 and 2013, respectively. At PNW, I have been teaching courses on programming, computer organization, computer networks, network security, and big data. My current research focuses on AI-driven computer and network security, cybersecurity education, and applied machine learning. I lead Cybersecurity and Applied Machine Learning (CSAML) Research Lab.
